Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing lathes, milling machines, and roll grinders at customer sites in the MidSouth Region to include but not limited to Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a solid understanding of machine tool operations, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of lathes, milling machines, and grinders at various customer locations.

• Travel to customer sites, often on short notice, to provide prompt and efficient service.

• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Work independently in the field, managing time and tasks efficiently.

• Collaborate with the team when necessary to address complex problems.

• Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and repairing machine tools or similar equipment is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machine tools.

• Ability to travel frequently and be on call for emergency service when needed.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.

• CNC Machining Experience a plus.
