Description

• Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.

• Perform both internal and external network security audits.

• Investigate & analyze security breaches for root cause analysis and other cyber incidents.

• Continuously update the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans Verify the security of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to meet security requirements.

• Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT security requirements.

• Research the latest in information technology security trends to keep up to date with the subject and use the latest technology to protect information.

  Requirements

Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities, and explain how to avoid them Ideal candidate would have proven hands-on experience with some or all of the following systems:

• Rapid 7 IDR and IVM tools Qualys Asset

• Patch

• Vulnerability Management Trend Apex One/Deep Security SASE firewalls

• Microsoft 365 Security

• IEM

• Mail gateway security,

• IDPS concepts

Experience in the following would be a plus:

• Scripting such as Python, PowerShell, PowerAutomate, and VB

• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a detail oriented demeanor

• Must be detail-oriented.

• Must be able to work independently and set priorities to meet firm reporting deadlines.
