Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated HR Generalist in Memphis, Tennessee. The role primarily involves executing HR practices, policies, and procedures, with a strong focus on employee relations and updating HRIS information in Paylocity. The HR Generalist will be the first point of contact for HR related matters, and will handle calls, documentation, and all aspects of hiring decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of HR practices, policies, and procedures

• Take the lead in managing employee relations issues

• Maintain and update HRIS information using Paylocity

• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries

• Handle all aspects of hiring decisions, from screening to onboarding

• Provide support in maintaining accurate documentation related to HR processes

• Work with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient HR operations

• Utilize Paylocity for managing HR data and processes

• Assist in managing compensation administration and compliance issues

• Handle employee relations to maintain a positive workplace environment

Requirements

• Preferred experience utilizing Paylocity

• Demonstrated understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Strong knowledge of HR Compliance regulations and best practices

• Ability to manage and improve Employee Relations

• Experience with Paylocity for payroll and HR services

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Strong decision-making skills and a high level of attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
