Content Development Specialist
PRIMARY PURPOSE : To manage the day-to-day aspects of our content management system and assist with projects related to content management and development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate, well-written content for proposal responses.
Engage subject matter experts across the company in the system.
Participate in knowledge management strategy and maintenance.
Ensure messaging is consistent throughout content.
Provide copy-editing/proofing of various projects as required.
Assist proposal team with the management of projects as required, such as RFP follow-up requests.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Travels as required.
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two (2) years of copy-editing experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong writing, grammar and copy-editing – required
Strong project management – required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Adept with using and learning new software, including Microsoft Office products
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
Analytical and interpretive skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to succeed in a work from home environment
Ability to work in a team environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
