James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics 23064 Team Lead - Shipping in Memphis, Tennessee
Essential Functions
:
- Answers and makes calls to and from customers, internal and external, as needed.
- Processes packages or cases including, but not limited to:
- USPS packages/cases
- COD cases
- Employee Dental Assistance Program cases
- VIP inbound/outbound
- DSO cases
- Outsource cases
- Customer drop-off cases
- Monitors flow of rush cases to ensure proper routing and delivery to customers.
- Researches and process packages or cases needing special attention; contacts customers to verify or obtain missing or additional information.
- Conducts research on mixed and lost cases, and reports unresolved cases to Management.
- Fulfills submitted shipping service requests, which may include International and Saturday Delivery requests.
- Communicates information to internal and external customers related to orders on hold, international shipments, damaged shipments, and other extraordinary circumstances.
- Conducts mail count on a daily basis and provides updates as required.
- Provides support for Prospect/Restart customer accounts, including any account holds.
- Works with management to prioritize work projects and tasks, and assigns work to the team.
- Trains and provides direction to internal team members.
- Helps process credits for incoming Doctor cases.
- Determines and authorizes team/individual overtime as production needs require.
- Assists assigned personnel in resolving on-the-job technical problems.
- Arranges for necessary tools and supplies.
- Inspects, coordinates, and records work performed by the group.
- Refers problems involving job discipline and employee performance to supervisor.
- Keeps spare parts inventory in work area for the repairing and maintenance function of the group.
- Performs other related duties and projects as required by management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three (3) years of shipping experience
Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00 p/hr
