We're seeking a talented Mechanical Shop Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you'll be instrumental in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of intricate mechanical components using an array of cutting-edge tools and equipment. Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced mechanical tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, height gauges, and microscopes to measure, inspect, and fabricate precision parts.

• Perform meticulous assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of mechanical components with utmost attention to detail and quality.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality of machinery and equipment.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and fellow technicians to contribute innovative ideas and enhance manufacturing processes.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in operating mechanical tools and equipment, with hands-on experience in micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, height gauges, and microscopes.

• Solid mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on work, coupled with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Proven track record of being a self-starter and independent learner, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical engineering environment is preferred, but not required. We welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow!

work hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
