FlexStaff is seeking a Purchasing Manager for our client, a manufacturer for the aerospace and defense industry.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Lead manufacturing team to achieve production targets.

  • Review and examine purchase requisitions.

  • Read and interpret drawings for various parts, including machined, sheet metal, PCB, flex circuits, and complex assemblies.

  • Establish and select reliable suppliers with reasonable pricing and quality.

  • Purchase electrical and mechanical components, PCBs, fabricated parts, and complex assemblies.

  • Manage purchase orders (tracking, expediting, follow-up).

  • Obtain bids and issue POs for contract manufacturing services.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years' experience purchasing of electronic and electromechanical parts preferably in the RF Defense industry.

OR

  • Master's degree with 7 years' experience purchasing of electronic and electromechanical parts preferably in the RF Defense industry.

  • Costpoint, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office proficiency

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000/year
