Description

Actively manage the monthly and quarterly global Consolidations process and directly manage the Accounting Seniors. Support the timely and accurate completion of the month end close process, including the accurate load of financial data from SAP to Onestream/CPM. Preparation and analysis of monthly financial data including corresponding support schedules and analysis.

• (25%) Supervise, train and coach the Accounting Seniors.

• (20%) Oversee the consolidation process. Reviewing consolidation entries for actual, estimate and plan for all rate scenarios. Comprehensive understanding of the source of all inputs and calculations is required collaborating with contributors within and outside of immediate department where appropriate. Application and documentation of internal controls is essential for the preparation of adjusting and consolidation entries. Analytical review of data required to identify any unusual inputs at the entry point of the consolidation process. Comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange rate and related impact on each rate scenario is required. Proficiency in the rules of elimination and consolidation accounting is required.

• (20%) Reviewing Loading trial balance input, financial reporting packages, and foreign currency translation rates providing active monitoring of deadlines. Comprehensive understanding of the source of all inputs is required collaborating with contributors within and outside of immediate department. Application and documentation of internal controls is essential for all activities. Analytical review of data required to identify any unusual inputs at the entry point of the consolidation process.

• (20%) Preparation, review, and distribution of various monthly and quarterly reports as assigned ensuring accuracy to the underlying information. Perform sox controls ad liaison with internal and external auditors. Perform ad hoc analysis at request of senior leadership.

• (15%) Special projects as assigned, such as actively participating in process and systems improvements (Onestream) including conversion testing, simulation, and user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• OneStream experience required, HFM, Essbase, SAP experience a plus

• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting

• Advanced Degree or CPA a plus

• Strong technical and interpersonal skills

• 6⁃8 years prior Accounting/Finance experience with strong general ledger skills

• Strong PC expertise essential. Excel knowledge with expertise in macros and pivots preferred. SAP and/or CPM experience a plus

• Independent self⁃starter with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

• Strong Inter⁃Personal skills including: Able to interact and communicate effectively, must be able to express ideas in individual and group situations

• Teamwork/Collaboration: working effectively with teams and work groups
