Job Summary: We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager with extensive experience in managing heavy machinery, including bulldozers and backhoes. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate repairs, order parts, and maintain inventory across various job sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is in top condition to support our projects. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of heavy equipment. Collaborate with contractors and developers to assess equipment needs for specific jobs. Coordinate repair schedules and order necessary parts in a timely manner. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure equipment is readily available for all job sites. Train, supervise, and lead a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency. Provide detailed quotes for equipment requirements based on project specifications. Drive heavy equipment as needed for testing and training purposes. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, particularly bulldozers and backhoes. Experience working with contractors and developers in a construction environment. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of training and supervising teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
