The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.

Job Summary

Excellent opportunity to join the Land Electronics team in Melbourne, FL as a Material Program Manager!

Job Responsibilities

• Support IOP (Internal Operating Plan) creation based on production capacity, materials availability, and contractual requirements.

• Monitor and support PR placement and PO conversion, develop action plan for correction as required.

• Monitor material availability in support of IOP and contract and develop action plan for correction.

• Interface with planning, production and OPM to maintain IOP performance.

• Collaborate with Supply chain:

• Support alignment of POs to IOP need dates.

• Support supply chain with sub-tier supply chain shortages

• Support supplier negotiations as needed.

• Support information/updates on supplier performance as needed.

• Support escalation of supplier concerns for delivery schedules, price, and quality

• Work with cross-functional teams to manage supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery.

• CR (Change Request) support for approval

• SAIR/Deviation support for approval

• Support AOC (Advance of Contract) package creation

• Support AOC management and execution, PR placement, PO conversion

• Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.

• Provides back up to Operation Program Manger when absent, (daily meetings, follow up action items)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5 years of demonstrated experience.

• Solid understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationships

• Strong background in project material management

• Skilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word as well as SharePoint

• Excellent understanding of MRP systems

• Background in the defense industry is highly desirable

• Costpoint or Kinaxis experience preferred
