In this exciting role as Media Manager , you will be responsible for helping to oversee the development of media strategy and activation across the key categories of Chocolate, Candy, Biscuits, Cheese and Powdered Beverage (PB). This is also responsible for the implementation, execution and ongoing reporting of in-year media plans, linked to broader long-term category strategies in market.

Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

Supports the development and execution of media strategy and principals across the MDLZ portfolio:

  • Provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision making and media plan/principal development.

  • Demonstrate strong planning and prioritization (short and long term) in delivery of plans and principals.

Support in the delivery of the annual media contract and key local and regional stakeholders:

  • Ensure global best practice methodologies/standards are followed and results reported according to business priorities,

  • Develop strong relationships with agency partners, key media owners and other relevant stakeholders to ensure superior service and quality at all times.

  • Assist with high level execution of Category media plans, collaborating across functions to deliver best in class media plans

  • Ensure media efficiency and effectiveness while challenging the status quo and helping to develop new media and marketing initiatives.

A&C Budget Management:

  • Assist with portfolio optimization based on accurate management of budgets.

  • Leads monthly reporting for key parts of the portfolio, identifying drivers of performance and opportunities for optimization of future growth.

Performance Tracking & Monthly Reporting:

  • Measure/monitor media investment and performance across categories, brands, mediums, feeding relevant insight into the optimization and planning cycle.

  • Track, plan and monitor media budget and media deliverables/KPIs.

Support local and regional capability building initiatives:

  • Assist in the management and delivery of global, regional and local learning plans and actions.

  • Collaborate with key partners to implement specific category media research projects in alignment with global standards and consistent methodologies.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Tertiary qualification within either Commerce/Business/Law is preferred

  • 6+ years working experience, with preferably 2+ years in a commercially focused FMCG marketing team or agency

  • Understanding of ANZJ (Australia, New Zealand, Japan) media landscape

  • Digital knowledge

  • Ability to influence and manage multiple tasks

  • Independent/autonomous working style

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Demonstrate project management and problem solving skills

  • Knowledgeable with any media related platforms (Double-click, Facebook Ad Manager, Redmill, Nielsen, SAP)
