About the role:

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies across the hotel to enhance the Park Hyatt brand in Melbourne. You will be an ambassador for the hotel ensuring that communication is consistent with brand standards and of exceptional quality. You will support the Director of Sales and Marketing in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Implement effective communication strategies in relation to hotel collateral and publications

  • Manage Park Hyatt Melbourne’s public relations and global brand image in the marketplace

  • Build strong relationships at all levels across a diverse cross-functional environment

  • Develop an annual communications plan and budget for inclusion in the hotel's annual business plan

  • Manage all digital and social media platform communications and marketing initiatives

  • Coordinate the writing, editing and proofreading of all Sales & Marketing collateral in print and digital form

Qualifications:

  • University qualifications in Business, Hospitality or Sales and Marketing

  • Previous experience in a five-star hotel or, a similar fast-paced environment

  • Strong background in public relations and digital and social media marketing

  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into profitable action

  • An engaged and results-driven achiever with creative flair

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills

  • The flexibility to work on rotating roster
