WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for an innovative enterprise leader that can set the vision and create the future of our Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) Pacific Business.

The Director of Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Nike Australia’s online sales strategies and leading the country digital commerce team and x-functional partners.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding and experience in running an e-commerce business alongside knowledge in retail, digital marketing, and customer behavior.

Strong leadership and forging solid partnerships will be a critical skillset for this role. The Director will work closely with various departments to ensure a seamless online shopping experience and drive revenue growth through our digital channels.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As the leader of the digital commerce portfolio, your role will involve setting the vision and implementing comprehensive digital commerce strategies aligned with company goals. You will be responsible for coordinating the territory's digital commerce offense as part of an integrated marketplace growth strategy. Your focus will encompass web and app platforms like Nike.Com, SNKRS, Nike App, as well as driving commercial leverage of other Nike digital products/apps such as Nike Run Club (NRC), Nike Training Club (NTC), and related digital commerce initiatives aimed at accelerating growth and enhancing the consumer experience.

This role requires driving the comprehensive end-to-end digital business across the territory through leading in-season management of the territory’s digital business. You'll drive financial performance by defining the business plan to ensure growth for the Nike Brand and the overall Marketplace. You will also ensure focus on healthy P&L management: Identifying opportunities to increase profitability and reduce costs. Additionally, you will set and monitor KPIs (such as Traffic, CVR%, Member Acquisition, and Retention) to track performance and drive continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for driving the Direct Marketing strategy & investment (demand creation) in partnership with Geo/Territory Digital Marketing, to create a compelling end-to-end consumer experience through social, SEO, paid search, etc.

Furthermore, you will analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities. It will be your responsibility to deliver a locally competitive cart-to-home experience for consumers, including fulfillment strategy, payment, delivery, & consumer services, while ensuring a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for consumers and members.

In your capacity as a leader, you will ensure clarity on goals and that teams are consistently delivering against them. You will build, lead, and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team, motivating them to operate with speed and agility, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will collaborate with the Territory leadership team to develop an integrated marketplace strategy with a focus on digital commerce. You will be an active member of the Pacific leadership team, working closely with the Territory Direct and Marketplace Partners, Geo/Territory - Digital Marketing, Integrated Media, Merchandising, Planning, Brand Marketing, and Territory Supply Chain.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Digital or a related field

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in digital commerce, digital marketing, strategy or a related field.

  • Experience with digital or physical retail, and/or digital platforms and understanding market dynamics and bringing creative/disruptive idea are highly preferred.

  • Experience and understanding of e-commerce, app and financial KPIs is key.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, web analytics, and digital marketing tools

  • Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers to drive results, preferably in a matrixed environment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Experience working across a global, matrix organization will be highly regarded.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
