Equity Trustees Communications Manager in Melbourne, Australia

We're searching for an experienced Communications Manager to lead and oversee all communications activities within our complex and diverse business.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity at a highly reputable, stable, and growing company. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing internal and external relationships and shaping our communications strategy.

Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing & Communications, you will be part of a small but highly motivated team, and tasked with taking our communications program to the next level. As a senior member of our team, you will also serve as a mentor to others and as a trusted advisor to the business.

About the role:

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans with cross-functional teams.

  • Create high-quality and engaging content for various platforms (including web, publications, media) ensuring consistent and aligned messaging.

  • Manage day-to-day social media activities and ensure integration with planned client communications.

  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.

  • Facilitate crisis communication plans and protocols.

  • Audit and update disclaimers, brand positioning, and messaging across the product range.

  • Foster strong business partnerships to develop and enhance communication strategies.

  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate communications and cross channel content creation and strong, demonstrated writing skills

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Salesforce & Pardot, and Mailchimp strongly preferred.

  • Experience in change management communications and M&A communications is highly desired.

  • Experience in development of short and long term communications planning and implementation which includes internal and external audiences

  • Excellent organisation and diplomacy skills.

  • Project management skills and the ability to provide regular updates and reporting.

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related discipline
