Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker for our 2nd shift. This role involves removing weld spatter, inspecting paint coverage, stacking shoes onto pallets, and filling out part labels. The ideal candidate will maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards, keep the work area clean, and demonstrate dependability in adhering to all safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Remove weld spatter and inspect paint coverage.

• Stack shoes onto pallets and fill out part labels.

• Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace.

• Keep the work area clean at all times.

• Work in a safe manner at all times.

• Operate various machines and handle unloading/loading of parts.

• Use heat codes for bundles of steel.

• Stand continuously for 8-12 hours.

• Lift up to 25lbs with minimal walking.

• Perform repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting tasks.

• Work in tight places with good hand/eye coordination and motor skills.

• Conduct assembly, general production, and inspection tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor and manufacturing experience.

• Experience or willingness to learn machine operation.

• Experience with paint booths and hand tools.

Work Environment

Our industrial work environment requires ear and eye protection in production areas and involves exposure to noise, heat, and cold. Steel toe boots are required at all times. This role is on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with specific department hours as follows: Brake Shoe: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm, Forge: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Machining: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
