Description

We are actively seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process large volumes of invoices with oversight, ensuring proper G/L coding, required approvals, and confirmation of outstanding payments. Prepare invoices for scanning and attach follow-up barcodes when invoices are not routed through MarkView.

• Precisely enter all payable information into Oracle using invoices received via MarkView and KTM.

• Apply a working knowledge of the Select Medical/Concentra Chart of Accounts to code invoices accurately. Seek assistance from the AP Team Lead, when necessary, to confirm accurate coding.

• Ensure proper documentation is received for all RFP submissions.

• Audit invoices for entry accuracy and verify completeness of provided information.

• Prepare and mail checks in a timely manner while adhering to established policies.

• Research and resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies, flagging unusual or questionable invoice items or prices for clarification as needed.

• Notify Vendor Maintenance of changes or corrections to vendor setups, providing W-9 and invoice information for new vendor setups. Coordinate with field staff to ensure proper documentation is submitted for new vendor workflows.

• Work closely with vendors and team leads to resolve payment issues or discrepancies promptly.

• Maintain sustained focus, impeccable attention to detail, and timeliness in meeting deadlines for tasks and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Equivalent

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Basic mathematical proficiency to ensure accuracy in tracking, coding, and calculations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.

• High level of accuracy, problem-solving ability, and attention to process details.

• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple workflows, and demonstrate a personal sense of urgency in completing tasks.
