Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerJob Description

Join the world's leading manufacturer of extrusion equipment and systems for the production of pipe, profile, sheet, thermoforming sheet, and pellets made from plastics as well as wood-fiber composites. We are searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer for our production location in McPherson, Kansas. Responsibilities include: • Modification, integration, and development of windows-based control systems. • Modification, integration, and development of PLC programming using C#. • Support technical services in hardware and software during commissioning. • Detailed technical interaction with mechanical designers, sales, vendors, manufacturing, and customers to define all requirements of a control system to meet the intended equipment performance and customer requirements. • Practical application of industrial standards and codes including UL508, NFPA, NEC, and CSA in the overall system design. • Detailed specification of electrical components and circuitry. • Development of electrical schematics detailing all aspects of the control system. • Defining component layout within enclosures and labeling requirements. • Creation and maintenance of bill of materials. • Willingness to complete other duties as assigned.

Hard Skills

• Modification, integration, and development of windows-based control systems

• Modification, integration, and development of PLC programming using C#

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mc Pherson, Kansas.

Work Environment

Onsite role, Monday through Friday work schedule. Limited travel but will have travel for training during the first 4-6 months based on the candidate and their need. Engineering team of 6-8 Mechanical and Electrical engineers.
