We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in McMinnville, OR. As an L&D RN, you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the overnight shift. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods

• Monitor and assess fetal heart rate, maternal vital signs, and labor progression

• Assist with pain management and provide emotional support to patients and their families

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Prepare and assist with delivery procedures, including cesarean sections and emergency interventions

• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care

• Respond to and manage obstetric emergencies promptly and effectively

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
