Our client is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Analyst with a strong background in test automation and a passion for ensuring software quality for a 6-month contract opportunity. The ideal candidate for the Software Quality Analyst role will have hands-on experience with various programming languages, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD systems, as well as a deep understanding of cloud-based web applications and deployment technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated tests for the full solution stack (UI, Application Layer, REST API, Web Service) using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Utilize test automation frameworks and tools such as Junit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, and Postman to create robust and reliable automated tests.

• Build and deploy CI systems using Jenkins and Bamboo, and create CI automation pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.

• Analyze data to support theories and solutions, employing strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.

• Design and implement test cases for cloud-based web applications, with an emphasis on AWS Cloud deployment technologies.

• Use Selenium Grid for parallel execution of test cases across multiple browsers.

• Develop automation scripts using Extent Reports 2.0, Eclipse IDE, and Java.

• Create Feature Files using Gherkins language for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Understand and apply Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) principles.

• Test APIs using Postman and ReadyAPI with Groovy scripting.

• Write and execute SQL queries and database scripts; work with No-SQL databases like Couchbase.

• Perform performance testing of APIs using JMeter or BlazeMeter.

• Have a thorough understanding of concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures.

• Develop front-end UI tests for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript applications.

• Create and execute SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in test automation development and the use of related frameworks and tools.

• Hands-on experience with CI systems such as Jenkins and Bamboo, and CI automation pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-based web applications and AWS Cloud deployment technologies.

• Proficiency in using Selenium Grid, Extent Reports 2.0, Eclipse IDE, and Java.

• Experience with BDD using Gherkins language.

• Familiarity with Postman, ReadyAPI, and Groovy scripting for API testing.

• Experience with SQL queries and No-SQL databases.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter.

• Solid understanding of software development principles including concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures.

• Good front-end UI development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
