We currently have an opportunity for a Client Service Associate to join our Retirement & Private Wealth team in our McLean, VA office.

The selected individual will support and assist our financial advisors while helping to round out the client service team. They will be an essential member of our team dynamic as their assistance allows our firm to support a healthy level of growth, both currently and moving forward. Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow established processes for opening and servicing client accounts.

  • Proactively participate in day-to-day communication with clients.

  • Assist clients with account related requests, questions and issue resolution.

  • Prepare and submit insurance applications and assist underwriters with any requirements necessary to issue coverage.

  • Schedule and manage “review” meetings directly or in coordination with Financial Advisors.

  • Manage onboarding of prospects who become new clients.

  • Review processes and make suggestions to improve the client experience.

  • Follow-up after meetings, track, and complete pending activities.

  • Maintain and update client data, input updated values into appropriate planning and CRM software.

  • Assist with firm and team goals and ad hoc reporting requests from the team.

  • Communicate accurate, up-to-date status information with team members.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • A genuine passion for helping others and willingness to serve our clients.

  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail and dedication to quality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • BA / BS, or equivalent experience.

  • Three or more years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic financial planning concepts, terminology and products (mutual funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, annuities, etc.).

  • The drive to nurture long-term relationships with our clients.

  • Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and CRM.

  • Ability to be creative and find ways to deepen the relationships with our clients.

  • Ability to come into the office consistently. This position will be a hybrid structure of in-office & remote work.
