Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager to join our team in the Herndon, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify program needs, organize project activities for a prominent enterprise cyber group and manage project tasks and objectives to meet the customer mission.

  • Provide overall management of specific cyber tasks and ensure the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with mission partners.

  • Identify, coordinate, and manage an ever-expanding and evolving set of needs with different stakeholders, groups, and offices to ensure goals and timelines can be met.

  • Communicate with customer and internal leadership to keep them aware of statuses related to creation, coordination, and approval of project phases.

  • Prepare briefings and present summaries about status at review board meetings.

  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure requirements are effectively defined and assessed.

  • Conduct programmatic analysis and provide strategic recommendations for activities or projects throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Analysis and monitoring of performance metrics of approved projects.

  • Manage Programmatic risk to cost, schedule, and scope.

  • Manage team personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of (8) eight years of experience in Project Management

  • A minimum of (5) five years managing cyber security contracts for the Intelligence Community

  • In-depth understanding of cyber security methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification

  • Any industry relevant certifications

  • Experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Accreditation (C&A) processes

  • Experience with Vulnerability/Risk Management

  • Experience with Project Management and Change Management tools, such as, Jira or ServiceNow

  • Experience with the Agile development process and serving as a Scrum Master

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI

  • Must hold an active polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
