Principal Associate, Business Development - Airport Lounge

Within the Premium Products & Experiences (PPX) organization, the Travel team is responsible for setting the enterprise-wide vision for travel experiences for our premium card members. The Airport Lounge Business Development team, within this organization, is focused on growing the Capital One Lounge network in the U.S., setting a new bar for premium experiences in the market.

As a Principal Associate, Business Development at Capital One, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business projects. In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Airport Lounge Business Development team and key stakeholders to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company. You will work with smart, talented people who will challenge you to excel.

As a Principal Associate, Business Development you will:

• Support negotiations with external partners

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute contracts

• Support management of financial investment for Lounge program

• Maintain and manage key relationships with external partners

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 1 year of Business Development or External Relationship Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Business Development experience

• Proven track record of delivering results

• Strong executive presence and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $134,100 - $153,000 for Pr Assoc, Business Development

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
