IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, Technology Strategy & Transformation, (Technology Strategy & Operations) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1519068), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Tysons (McLean), VA.

Collaborate in the creation of technology-enabled business models of the future with our clients. Develop cohesive, compelling strategic visions of how technology transforms the business models of our clients and coach leaders in positioning the vision while engaging stakeholders at all levels to support the proposed direction. Apply expertise in leading edge technologies and concepts like DevOps, Cloud, Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation, Block Chain, etc. Lead client interviews, conduct research, financial analysis, and develop executive level presentations for the c-level executive suite. Contribute to internal practice initiatives like building thought capital, developing methodologies, supporting recruiting and training needs, while driving community of practice activities to enhance the firms’ capabilities. Support complex initiatives encompassing large scale IT transformations, design, assessments, optimization, and process improvement engagements. Understand, analyze and apply leading frameworks to solve complex client technology problems. Collaborate closely with EY technology and business consulting practices to develop technology transformation roadmaps and drive broad transformation programs. Develop frameworks to evaluate potential costs and benefits, make key decisions about technology investments, internal allocation, and utilization of technology resources and/or assets and any changes to technology processes or services offered.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field and 4 years of related experience.

Must have 2 years of business technology or management consulting and/or advisory experience.

Must have 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following technology areas:

  • IT Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration),

  • IT Asset Management,

  • Software selection,

  • solution architecture,

  • application development,

  • IT operations,

  • packaged software management (such as ERP, CRM, WMS, financial consolidation, or other),

  • cloud solutions,

  • data management and analytics or infrastructure.

Must have 2 years of business experience with at least 2 of the following: Corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, supply chain, marketing, operations, Human Resources (HR), or internal control.

Must have 2 years of experience with data and financial analysis, reporting, and financial costing.

Must have 2 years of experience with leading practices, benchmarking, and peer company environments, which includes advisory and/or consulting experience relevant to industry specific business and technology functions.

Must have 2 years of experience with written and verbal presentation to leaders at the EVP and C-level.

Must have 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

Must have 2 years of experience leading and mentoring teams of at least 2 people.

Must have 2 years of experience managing day-to-day activities of project teams, including assigning work tasks, tracking schedules and highlighting project risks using project management tools.

Requires travel up to 60%, of which 50% may be international, to serve client needs.
