This role is a senior level leadership position responsible for driving Cyber incidents to closure with management to detect and respond to cyber incidents. Your objective is to ensure the directives and activities are in alignment with policies and company risk.
In this role you will provide industry-leading incident response, assessment, transformation, detection and response, services with in-depth tactical and strategic support. You will help Wells Fargo detect and respond to threats and reduce the overall impact of business risk before, during, and after an incident. You will be able to resolve security incidents quickly and at scale with complete incident response including investigation, containment, remediation, and partnering with our crisis management function. You will work on engagements navigating incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. Experience with threat intelligence, machine intelligence, and security objectives and controls validation will be instrumental with today's advanced threats.

You will be responsible for distilling and translating large amounts of incident response and operations information to ensure senior executives are up to date on the most critical efforts being managed by the team to mitigate risk. You're the kind of person with advanced follow-up skills with superb attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong team orientation and interpersonal skills.
In this role, you will:
Manage a 24x7 team of engineering managers and engineering leads
Oversee 24x7 Cybersecurity Operations, inclusive of leading a team of Senior Managers and Principal engineers.
Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
5+ years leading a Security Operations Center or Global Security Operations Center
Desired Qualifications:
Certifications in cyber such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEH
Experience with networking infrastructure, cybersecurity tools and technologies
Endpoint and network experience: IDS, IPS, EDR, ATP, malware defenses and monitoring
Threat hunt experience highly preferred
Knowledge of common adversary tactics and techniques such as persistence, defense, evasion and obfuscation
Knowledge of Mitre Framework
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
