BAE Systems Counterintelligence Officer II in McLean, Virginia
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking Counterintelligence (CI) Officers to support a client s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful CI Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, reports writing, operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. CI Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately and clearly while working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates should be comfortable drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information.
The position requires an active Security Clearance with Polygraph; there is no exception to the clearance requirement. Successful candidates will work well in team environments and also be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to professionally interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Level 4 requires 12 years of related work experience; Level 5 requires 20 years of related work experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience writing cables and with customer databases and tools
Minimum 60 days support to intel collection operations via PCS or TDY
Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys
Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries intelligence capabilities, including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT
Understanding of offensive and defensive CI methods
Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis, including insider threat detection
Knowledge of, and experience in, the fundamentals of intelligence operations, to include risk assessment
Active Security Clearance with Polygraph
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Formal CI training and/or certifications
Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
Foreign languages skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
