Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor. This role is based in McLean, Virginia, and involves overseeing various accounting functions within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of payroll

• Regularly preparing and reviewing balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations

• Leading and implementing improvement projects in NetSuite

• Ensuring the timely preparation and review of monthly financial statements using Microsoft Excel

• Preparing detailed reports, schedules, and analyses for the CFO as needed

• Overseeing the accounting for partnerships, including earnings and ownership allocations

• Managing fixed asset processes, policies, procedures, and local tax filings

• Overseeing the management and review of expense reporting activity and corporate card program

• Reviewing the work of direct reports to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Handling ad hoc requests and preparing schedules as required

• Maintaining and updating policy and procedures to ensure best practices in accounting. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for effective management of financial data.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required for efficient payroll and benefits management.

• Familiarity with BlackLine is necessary for financial close management and automation.

• Knowledge of Concur is essential for managing travel and expense reports.

• A strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed for integrating and managing main business processes.

• Mastery of Accounting Functions is crucial for effective management of the organization's financial operations.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required to ensure timely payment of invoices.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary for maintaining positive cash flow.

• Expertise in Auditing is vital for ensuring compliance with financial laws and standards.

• Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively is required for accurate invoicing and revenue tracking.
