The Test Technician is to perform functional test of the product to a procedure to validate the working condition. The technician will also be empowered to perform some troubleshooting and repair. Finally, the technician will perform acceptance test per procedure to then send the unit for sell off.
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment.
Work in a cleanroom environment, performing some mechanical assembly using various tools and fasteners.
Use of hardware like machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies.
Use precision torque tools, solder, repair, and/or inspect electric and mechanical systems.
Utilize special test equipment to perform a variety of tests and alignments of various hardware.
Interface and communication with Engineering involving technical discussions will be required.
Requires the technician to pass certifications and to work limited overtime when needed.
Expected to cross-train for other areas and be engaged with daily production activities that drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule performance.
This is a 3rd shift, onsite position in McKinney, TX.
Qualifications You Must Have
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with written documentation (Assembly Instructions, Drawings, Test Procedures, and/or Shop Processes, etc).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with lean manufacturing concepts.
Experience with torque tools.
Experience working in an ESD and FOD free environment.
Experience working and collaborating in a team environment.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
