Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Mechanic is to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and supporting equipment. This is primarily a mechanical position, though familiarity with PLCs is a plus. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot electrical switches and sensors, and work with tight tolerances.

• Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

• Reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics

• Working with electrical switches and sensors

Soft Skills

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

• Strong mechanical aptitude

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in McKinney, Texas.

Work Environment

This position operates in an industrial environment with loud noises, heavy equipment, and machinery. You will work with a team of 3-5 others in the maintenance department. The dress code includes steel-toed boots and jeans. The shift is 2nd shift 4pm - 2:30am (OT as needed)
