Job description

U.S. Got People is searching for a Physician Assistant to work Full-Time at the McGuire Air Force Base , New Jersey, providing Primary Care services to active duty service members.

Job duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and provide general screenings and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, chronic, and acute conditions

  • Provide immunizations

  • Diagnose treat and counsel patients

  • Technically direct and provide care for various diseases and/or types of injuries (i.e., acute, chronic, minor trauma)

  • Recognize emergency conditions for proper treatment

  • Direct and teach staff, provide educational lectures, and train in-service staff members

  • Promote preventative care and health maintenance

  • Annual physicals

  • Teach patients healthy regimens and methods to achieve wellness

  • Attend meetings to discuss specialty consultations and treatment plans ensuring medical readiness or referral onto Disability Evaluation System

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree accredited by the ARC-PA

  • PA-C through NCCPA

  • Must have ACLS, BLS and PALS

  • 2 year of experience in Primary Care

  • Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a PA

  • Military Health System experience is highly desirable
