::: {#jobdetailsatsrequisitiondescription} Cimarron is seeking a licensed, part-time

Electricianwith a TS/SCI clearance and a CI polygraph

to support a large defense contractor inMcClellan Park, CA.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain, install, and repair 120/208 volt and 277/480 volt electrical power distribution systems, including electrical main gear, transformers, feeders, panels, branches, circuits, motors, lighting, and troubleshooting systems.
  • Usegeneral knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Constructcommercial office space by providing overall electrical capabilities with limited supervision.
  • Respondto trouble calls and resolve variousproblems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Repairand maintainpower plant and office facilities equipment.
  • Interpret basic schematics and diagrams.
  • Reviewcustomer requirements and evaluateproduct capabilitiesunder general guidance.
  • Receive specialized equipment training, if needed.
  • Provide guidance and training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment, if needed.
  • Climb ladders, work from aerial/scissor lifts, walk on grid platforms, and work from the roofs of commercial buildings. :::

::: {#jobdetailsatsrequisitionrequirements} Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • 2 or more years of residential, commercial, or industrial electrical experience.
  • Electrical Contractor, Master Electrician, or Journeyman Electrician certification, or Department of Labor Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) apprentice registration.
  • OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour training.
  • Experience with new builds, renovations, and historical restoration projects.
  • Up-to-date Electricianlicense.
  • Ability to run conduit.
  • Excellent communicationskills.
  • Ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code, state codes, and local building codes.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
  • Experience using testing equipment and hand tools.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Associatedegree in Electrical Technology.
