Inventory Control Manager
SUMMARY:
General responsibilities include supervision of processes and responsibilities in the areas of
Inventory Control, Safety and Housekeeping.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manages and leads assigned Inventory Control teams, including performance reviews, staff training & development, and mentoring
Performs Distribution Center Training on Inbound and Outbound processes
Leads Inventory Control processes to include management of Cycle Count Program, Inventory exceptions, and Distribution Center Master SKU Data
Management of disposal processes with emphasis on HAZMAT & DOT Compliance.
Management of Customer Quality/SQD, Inbound & Outbound audits, ADI process and Quality KPI’s
Provides WMS/SAP information to the Distribution Center Team
Works within the SalonCentric & L’Oréal Network to leverage best practices
Leads Continuous Improvement projects, leveraging Lean Principles & tools
Performs other duties and tasks as needed upon request
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to five years of people management experience in a high-volume distribution or manufacturing environment
Strong computer, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred experience with advanced Warehouse Management Systems, such as Manhattan or JDA; SAP knowledge required.
Must be a self-starter, flexible, organized, detail oriented, and a change agent; Successful implementation of Lean Principles
Broad Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
Must be able to wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests
Must maintain current certification in DOT Transportation and RCRA Hazardous Materials courses
