Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have accounting skills, analytical skills and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Assistant (Grants)

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay Range: $17.00 hourly

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for invoicing/collections and customer billing inquiries and disputes

• Record, classify, and summarize accounting transactions

• Select correct accounts, verify, balance, prepare, and post journal entries

• Reconcile accounts and assist in the compilation of reports

• Other duties as assigned

What’s Needed?

• Associate's degree or a minimum of 60 earned college hours

• At least one (1) year of accounting experience, preferred

• Experience in a higher education institution, preferred
