Responsibilities Assist with the inventory of property. Instructs customers and monitors proper and safe usage of equipment as needed. Assists Facility Manager in the overall management and operations of the Fitness Center. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications: Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to operate multiple fitness facilities. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Highly Preferred Canidates will possess: Fitness Facility Experience. Experience facilitating fitness events/activities. A Nationally Recognized Basic Fitness Trainer Certification. *Applicants who meet all three Best Qualifying Criteria will be issued on a referral to management first, then applicants who meet two of the three will be issued and then applicants who meet one of the three will be issued. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
