What you’ll do:

The Neurodiagnostic Specialist must have experience performing all modalities of EEG procedures, Special Procedure EEGs (Wada, Pet, Ictal Spect), Continuous Long Term Video EEG Monitoring on adult and pediatric/neonatal population of patients, Invasive - Intracranial Continuous Long Term Video EEG monitoring, assists with Pre-surgical evaluation during Long Term Video EEG Monitoring. Based on operational needs, the Neurodiagnostic Specialist may be encouraged to begin cross training process in NCV/QSART/or EP technology leading to obtaining RNCST or CNCT certification in NCV technology.

What you’ll need for this job:

  • REQUIRED: HS Diploma.

  • PREFERRED: Associates degree

  • REQUIRED: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience.

  • REQUIRED: Registered EEG Tech (ABRET)

  • PREFERRED: Registered EP Tech (ABRET)

  • REQUIRED: CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

  • REQUIRED: Annually completes a minimum 10 Continuing Education Units (CEU) recognized by credentialing board of neurodiagnostic technologists, e.g. ABRET
