Design, develop, test, and maintain Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) data services and Generic CIP services for industrial automation controllers. Integration of catalog service with CIP data service for catalog information of devices. Utilize Rockwell's Ethernet/Industrial Protocol Client Services (ECS) toolkit to communicate with devices. Review documents, designs, code, test cases, and user documentation. Design and develop system architecture that meet product requirements. Develop, configure, automate, and execute unit tests, functional tests, and run tests with controllers. Extract data from controllers and move data to different endpoints. Report, analyze, debug, and correct system anomalies. Collaborate with local and global technical development teams.

Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience.

Must have 6 years of experience in programming languages such as C++ or C#.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: -Developing services involving Common Industrial Protocols; and -Utilizing Ethernet Industrial Protocol client services.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: -Utilizing Studio 5000 Logix Designer; -International Electrotechnical Commission 61131-3 standardized programming language for industrial automation; -Back-end development using Node.js; and -Developing microservices using Typescript or Javascript.

Must have 1 year of experience in asynchronous programming or multithreading using Rust programming language.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
