Project Engineer, Security Test, Rockwell Automation, Inc., Mayfield Heights, OH:

Conduct penetration testing and evaluate security risks for embedded software, hardware, wireless, and cloud products. Advise product teams on risk and mitigation strategies. Develop security tools such as fuzzers when Commercial Off-The-Shelf tools are not available. Maintain lab infrastructure and serve as lab captain for the Security V&V Lab located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Research current security trends regarding industrial control systems, software, embedded systems, hardware design, cloud-to-edge, and application security. Collaborate with security experts to ensure security requirements are implemented. Design and implement product and system security test set-ups. Stay current on the "vulnerability landscape" and potential attacks. Evaluate the potential impact of publicly identified attacks on Rockwell Automation's product portfolio.

Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber-Security, Information Security, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber-Security, Information Security, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. 

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

-Python Programing; -Developing software for custom development projects and web applications using Java, C++, PHP, JS, or Angular; -Utilizing Windows and Linux operating systems; -Performing Cloud, Embedded Software, Wireless, and Hardware penetration testing; and -Lab Infrastructure Maintenance, including VMware vSphere.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
