Description

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology vision aligned with the organization's overall goals.

  • IT Operations Management: Oversee the IT ticket system, prioritizing workflows and ensuring efficient problem resolution.

  • Technology Department Leadership: Manage and lead the technology team, including systems, operations, and cybersecurity.

  • Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on organizational operations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Innovation Drive: Foster a culture of innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

  • Systems Development: Oversee the development and implementation of robust and interoperable software systems to ensure seamless data exchange and integration.

  • Vendor Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations and implement robust measures to protect sensitive information.

  • Financial Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost-effective technology solutions.

  • Team Development: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in a senior IT leadership role, such as Director of IT or a similar position.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, as well as proficiency in network technologies and system administration.

  • Project Management: Ability to strategize and execute complex IT projects successfully.

  • Team Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address technical challenges effectively.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced IT certifications are preferred.

  • Standards and Frameworks: Familiarity with industry IT standards and frameworks.

  • Infrastructure Planning: Proven track record of strategic planning and development of IT infrastructure.

  • Vendor Management: Ability to manage and coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
