We are looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Massillon, Ohio! The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience with dump truck operations, specifically hauling asphalt. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, organized, able to read maps, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a dump truck safely and responsibly.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations while driving.
• Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle and ensure it is in good working order.
• Minor/regular maintenance to truck you are assigned to.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Must be punctual
• Communicate with the owner, customers, and coworkers on the road.
• Must be able to work with others, especially the other KAT drivers.
• Must own a headset. Hand-held cell phone usage will not be tolerated.
• Must be able to follow driving directions from cell phone/GPS
• Must be able to haul misc aggregates. Experience in hauling asphalt is REQUIRED

• Per DOT regulations, you must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & random testing

   

Pay:

- - Based on Experience - Competitive Hourly wage - Expected hours: 50 -- 65 per week - Summer hours may include Saturday

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8-10 hours per day
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Asphalt: 1 year (Required)
• Manual transmission: 1 year (required)

• Automatic Transmission: 1 year (required)
