Job Description Summary:

In this newly created Salesforce Business Transformation role, you will play a vital role in being an ambassador and assuming ownership of identified projects, platforms and architecture roadmaps. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for Salesforce scalability, improved processes, data integrity and security. You should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, managing and documenting all aspects of a Salesforce project. You should be able to work with your IT colleagues to translate the business need to IT terms and partner with them on each project.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at working with stakeholders at all levels, gathering and analyzing business requirements (a.k.a., requirements elicitation) and feedback to drive strategic initiatives; clearly explaining design options in Salesforce in a technical and non-technical fashion, and their potential impact. Experience with a Salesforce-based Partner Portal is preferred as Rocket continues to grow their Partner Portal capabilities. This position requires that you be a visionary but also have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with multiple system platforms.

This position is an individual contributor role to start but you may have an opportunity to manage a team of people in the future. This role will play a heavy part in the integration of Rocket’s acquisitions, working with the business and IT to support what will be needed. This role should understand what “good” data structure is and, in the future, could have an opportunity to lead a project on Salesforce data hygiene and maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and document the outcomes.

  • Conduct gap analysis, identify system capabilities and design strategic solutions which optimize business processes which reference application/ information architecture in collaboration with IT.

  • Be able to describe the business need in a way of telling a story.

  • Business process mapping: creates visual representations of business processes. A business process map includes the steps in the process, who does what, additional context, and how success is measured.

  • Requirements acceptance: facilitate business users (who you are delivering solutions for) to review the requirements/user stories that have been drawn up.

  • Lead and work cross-functionally with members of a project in implementing your design including review of development artifacts to ensure the solution adheres to platform and architectural best practices.

  • Drive best practices and increase user adoption of the Salesforce platform, to include Rocket’s Partner Portal, and monitor user adoption and system governance.

  • Support the Partner Operations business processes and systems on an ongoing basis which includes but is not limited to Deal Registration, Partner Onboarding, Partner Enablement, and the LMS system which is integrated with Rocket’s Partner Portal.

  • Understands how to work with large data sets and drive data transformation in Salesforce, including gaining business alignment.

  • Lead initiatives to introduce new process/functionality to the Rocket Partner Portal as needed.

  • Develop scalable best practice solutions and help to manage the Salesforce product road map.

  • Handle multiple and concurrent projects achieving short-term commitments while advancing strategic objectives.

  • Present outcomes to executive teams upon project completion.

  • Keep user documentation up to date once release cycles have been completed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to think creatively and to tactically partner, engage and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align business objectives with analytical insights.

  • Organized and methodical with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.

  • Proficient in using data analysis tools and software such as Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.), SQL and Business Intelligence tools (i.e., such as Power BI, Looker Einstein, etc.).

  • Excels in a fast-paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is key.

  • Strong project and people management skills.

  • Experience with supporting Salesforce in a Sales or Sales Operations capacity is a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with Business Analyst responsibilities, preferably with a software company is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.

  • Any Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 10% travel is required to attend various sales related meetings.

The base salary range for this role is $125,887.00 - $157,359.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
