We’re expanding our Sales Team, seeking to hire a Inside Technical Sales Support Associate supporting the Door & Hardware industry. This individual will guide Distributors, Dealers, End Users, Architects and Hardware Specifiers through the specialized aspects of our mechanical products, ensuring they can best meet the needs of the end user. You will collaborate closely with both our Sales and Product Management Teams serving as the Subject Matter Expert behind our product offerings.

This position will be onsite in Maspeth, NY.

What you will be doing

  • Provide Expert Product Knowledge: Offer detailed technical, discount, and pricing information for our products, ensuring a deep understanding of our offerings.

  • Answer Product Inquiries: Respond to questions about product applications and specifications, delivering accurate and helpful information.

  • Price Modeling: Ensure the accuracy of quotations and product documentation, working closely with all parties involved.

  • Customer & Distributor Collaboration: Resolve product and application issues by configuring products to meet specific requirements, suggesting modifications, and presenting proposals to the product management team.

  • Customer Service Support: Assist with shipping issues, product order status updates, and special requests.

  • Effective Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with Architects, Consultants, Dealers, Distributors, Installers, End Users, DSS teams, Business Development team, Engineering, and the In-House Shipping and Production Manager.

  • Field Feedback and Product Development: Gather and relay insights from field conditions and application requirements to our sales and engineering teams, driving the development of new products or variations.

  • Tech Support Backup: Provide backup support to our tech team, guiding product installation and operation.
