Location: Mason Employment Status: Salary Full-Time Function: Engineering Pay Range: ($89,104.00 - $133,656.00) Target Bonus: % Req ID: 25602 Summary of Position Leads, trains, and develops Level 1 & 2 Process Engineers to improve current manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and profitability for the company. Works with production team members and support teams to ensure equipment is being operated safely, processes are being run by procedure and the weekly production schedule is met. Plans, organizes and completes multiple complex engineering projects/capital projects for new processes, and improves existing processes and machine reliability within the areas of assigned responsibility. Monitors and analyzes manufacturing process yields/cost, identifies issues and develops improvement steps. Highest level of three level job family. Key Deliverables Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization, timely completion of projects, corrective actions, and leads multiple proactive process improvements. Participates in team meetings and works with teams to complete projects. Key Accountability Metrics Safety metrics, Production schedule completion percentage, Process Scrap rate, Breakdown man hour utilization percentage, Team OEE, Lean Project Completion, Conversion costs per pound, EBITB, ECR completion rate Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include the following and other duties maybe assigned. * Works safely and supports safety within their team and across the organization Engineering support- 80% * Understands processes, equipment functionality and desired outcome. * Leads Corrective Actions and proactive process improvements * Guides reduction efforts for reduction of Mfg. Cost and Cost of Poor Quality * Interprets drawing and spec requirements and translate into robust manufacturing processes * Works with production teams to ensure correct procedures and work instructions are in place and followed * Provides technical guidance to manufacturing personnel * Provides guidance and support to the Engineers * Assesses safety requirements and makes recommendations to integrate improvements to processes and equipment * Defines plant equipment and layouts to optimize cellular alignments to enhance product flow using Value Stream Mapping and Cellularization techniques * Manages New Product introduction projects, in accordance to prescribed process and company strategy, ensures timely completion of projects and provides follow-up reporting * Reviews process scrap and works with the Quality Department to identify quality issues and develops corrective actions * Reviews status of production schedule with teams * Reviews & coordinates MPDs with team * Reviews previous shif Apply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjk0MjY3LjEwNTA4QGxpbmNvbG5lbGVjdHJpY2NvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
