Luxottica of America, Inc. has an opening for a Lead Systems Administrator in Mason, Ohio. Job Duties: Responsible for the overall consistency, stability, health and performance of the technical architecture. Manage 3rd party resources to resolve technical problem for all technology related issues within the technical environments. Analyze, resolve and addresses customer requests/incidents regarding software or reporting toolset. Identify, evaluate and recommend improvements based on best practices and/or requests from business representatives. Ensure security. Responsible for promotion and version management. Manage performance and capacity planning. Support project activities by providing technical expertise. Manage vendor relationship during technical issues and problems resolution where vendor support is required. Lead the design and implementation of the SAP solution for the organization. Define roadmaps and implementation plans. Plan capacity needs for technical environment and meet with stakeholders to determine ongoing requirements. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 1) Installation, configuration, and administration of Solution Manager 4.0/7.0; 2) SAP installations on various platforms: HP-UX, IBM AIX, IBM AS400- iSeries, SUN Solaris, and Windows and SAP Modules implementation; 3) Installation of various SAP NetWeaver, including ECC, EP, DMS, SCM, SRM, 2004s (ABAP, JAVA, ABAP+JAVA) systems ECC, DMS, and Solution Manager; 4) Performing Homogeneous System Copies; 5) Backup, Restore and Recovery and performance tuning of SAP R/3 on Oracle databases and SQL Server databases; 6) SAP BW Administration; 7) Database monitoring and performance tuning; 8) Installation and maintenance of ERP, SCM, BW, XI on NT/SQL Server and CUA environments; and 9) Java administration through visual administrator, config tool, SMICM, JSPM.
