POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Audit Specialist is responsible for the scheduling and execution of the AtriCure cycle count program. This position will schedule all counting activities, recount activities and coordinate with department supervisors on investigations and corrective actions needed to improve the inventory accuracy. This person is responsible for the entry of cycle counts into the inventory system, recording results and reporting monthly accuracies by area. In addition, this person is responsible for the entry of all material adjustments and tracking and monitoring these activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Able to work with minimal supervision on tasks encompassing Cycle counting activities Proficient in systematic transactions as related to inventory and cycle counting, as well as investigation of discrepancies in the inventory control system Understanding of whom and where to communicate deficiencies within the inventory control system and to recommend and help implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence Ability to work and communicate in a cross-functional environment including Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering departments Demonstrate the ability to plan and track tasks to align with project plan and team objectives Demonstrate proficiency in basic MRP and planning processes Assist planning in the establishment and execution of internal Kanban processes Assist planning in a back-up role as needed for build schedule and Preactor shop floor scheduling Maintain metrics related to cycle counting and inventory adjustment activities Maintain records as required by the quality system ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Regular and predictable worksite attendance Ability to work under fast-paced conditions Ability to make decisions and use good judgment Ability to prioritize various duties and multitask as required Ability to successfully work with others Additional duties as assigned BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position Great organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Data Analysis Experience Great computer/data entry Skills Problem solving/trouble shooting experience Microsoft Office proficiency Highly-motivated individual able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently MRP system software experi
