We are currently looking for a Sales & Category Development Manager to join our Nutrition team.
Location: Maslak, İstanbul
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Sales & Category Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;
Achieve country sales volume, value, and profitability targets by category
Commercial Process:Drive the overall category development & growth by driving focus on Channel/customer plans based on shopper insights, while driving the commercial execution agenda combined with developing compelling selling stories to deliver on the category’s strategies and growth expectations.
Ensuring Strategic Revenue Management becomes the way of working for the category and opportunities are worked on during the key times of year e.g. Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) and becomes part of the day to day working for the Generating Demand community in the market, for the category
Channel 360: Define the channel plans to win at the Point of Purchase, for the category
Shopper: Ensure the needs of the category in the cluster are met by driving the shopper research agenda in the market. Drive the understanding of the shopper in the category across the market, ensuring commercial plans have shopper data & insights embedded throughout
Localize and implement omni-channel category growth strategies, channel strategies, and local channel solutions. Lead the Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) for the Business Unit across channels in line with overall market strategy
People Management & Team Development: Lead and develop the CDT Team in the category, within the cluster by building the capabilities on CDT Pillars.
Drive differentiated shopper activations for priority customers. Provide insights for Point of Purchase (POP) drivers and ensure the development and regular updates of the Point of Purchase (POP) Vision document at the channel level.
Define sales team incentive targets and bonus systems based on channel-specific data.
Define the strategic contribution of each product pack regarding target users, value propositions, pack size roles, and growth levers & Identify potential pricing and format opportunities
Maintain, update, and implement core distribution priorities and merchandising guidelines/planograms on a channel and format basis
Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies
Which profile are we looking for?
Bachelor’s or master’s degree
A minimum of 8 years of commercial experience, with at least 2 years of front-line sales experience; marketing experience is an advantage
Strong understanding of key business functions, customers and selling process
Preferred background in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods
Experience in the infant and toddler nutrition category is highly preferred
Excellent command of English
