The Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) group is part of the wider Eaton Electrical Group and contains the Crouse Hinds division which manufactures high grade electrical products for hazardous, industrial, and commercial applications world-wide. We are looking for a Customer Service Leader to be the main point of contact for all customers nationally within the GEIS division. The successful candidate will assist and advise customers ensuring alignment with business needs whilst continuously striving to provide the best customer service.

This is a B2B role within a multinational organisation and a great opportunity for an experienced technical sales or customer service coordinator who has worked in either I.T and Telecommunications, Utilities, Manufacturing, Mining or any industry requiring a technical understanding of products and services.

Key Duties:

  • Manage the customer service team and build relationships through outstanding customer service.

  • Train and develop a competent and efficient team of customer service and internal sales coordinators.

  • Assist customers with technical information, product descriptions, pricing, and anticipated delivery of GEIS products.

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve the division’s sales & margin objectives.

  • Process sales orders, credit requests, warranty requests and back-order reports.

  • Provide technical support for GEIS electrical products (where possible).

  • Provide back up for coordinating export orders.

  • Follow up customer complaints.

  • Assist staff with pulling out documentation to process credit/RMA’s.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or internal sales coordination preferably within a technical industry with complex products and or services

  • Experience with SAP or Oracle as well as Excel highly regarded.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a cross functional environment.

  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent organisation and planning skills.
