Adecco US, Inc. Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Marysville, Ohio

Pay Rate: $19-22/hr

Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for working with the warehouse and transportation staff to maintain the flow of inbound and outbound shipments. Work with a TMS and WMS system to monitor and enter delivery appointments for shipments.

Essential Duties:

Inbounding drivers by permitting access to the grounds, collecting BOLs, and communicating to the Operations teams.

Communicate delivery appointments with carriers or 3PLs to maintain flow of inbound/outbound shipments.

Maintain constant involvement in the operation of company Transportation Management System (TMS), Ditat. This includes completing check calls, ensuring correct trailer records, and dispatching route information to drivers.

Monitor and communicate load assignments and schedules.

Maintain fleet asset records both electronically and physically.

Coordinating daily with internal personnel to meet ship/receive dates and requirements.

Ensuring customer shipment information is accurate in WMS system for inbound loads.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday with possible Saturday work, depending on customer needs.

First shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

2 years of experience working in a warehouse or trucking office.

Ability to schedule shipments, and work with drivers on their shipments.

Experience in customer services, as well as generating freight bills.

Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS), and or Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience working with truck drivers and warehouse staff.

Knowledge of applicable transportation and warehouse regulations and laws.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
