Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Patient Attendant Float, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for assisting in providing a safe environment for an identified patient who is at an increased risk to cause harm to self. The Patient Attendant Float is required to staff on any patient care units that Float Pool provides support to, as assigned by the Staffing Office/Supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Preferred/Optional: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
