**A local company is seeking a technical individual to work in the production of solar-powered control assemblies for the traffic industry. This position involves working on both the electrical and mechanical aspects of system production and includes some AC-powered systems.

Duties:

• Primarily responsible for component installation and interconnection on solar control panels and testing of control functionality.
• Interpret electrical schematic diagrams and implement control panel construction based on drawings and written descriptions.
• Review internal work orders and approve them for production
• Fabricate component parts (wire assemblies, brackets, etc.) as required for system construction.
• Test system functionality, troubleshoot, and repair functional issues.
• Provide technical support to customers by responding to customers questions and requests.

Qualifications:

• Technical associate degree OR 3-5 years' experience in electronics or solar applications
• Knowledge of electrical principles, installation practices, and troubleshooting for DC and AC systems
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical / electronic circuits
• Visual thinker who is good at problem-solving and implementing ideas
• Proven electrical / electronic / mechanical abilities
• Attention to detail and having a high standard of quality
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and well-organized
• Team player who listens, learns,and actively communicates
• Military electronics experience is a definite plus
