Seed Technicians are needed for a 6 month, seasonal assignment working for a global agricultural company at their soybean seed processing facility in Marshall, MO. This is a team-oriented work environment. You will work in a warehouse with occasional outside work which includes frequent walking and standing. This warehouse work includes working in a non-climate-controlled facility so in cold conditions during the winter months. This position involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. (A buddy system for lifting is allowed.) Schedule:

• 1st shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday (May require Saturday work once a month)

• 2nd shift: 3:30pm - 2:00am Sunday - Thursday (May require Friday work once a month)

• Depending on the position hired for your shift may rotate in January

Safety/PPE:

• You will be required to wear: A shirt w/ sleeves, long pants, safety toe shoes (paid for at your own expense)

• Work site will provide: A high-visibility vest, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves

Responsibilities

As a Seed Technician, you will assist in the receiving, processing, packaging, and shipping of soybean seeds:

• Operate packaging equipment, including monitoring container filling operations and ing labels to finished containers to meet proper specifications

• Operate computer scanning programs for managing materials and products in and out of warehouse inventory

• Perform and document safety and equipment checks on equipment used for operations

• Clean work area and equipment to company standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Work and communicate collaboratively with team members to meet production requirements safely and efficiently.

• Forklift operation may be involved for qualified workers

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
