• Desire to be involved with, and committed to the community, both on and off air
• Skilled in audio editing, running audio boards, telephone systems and related broadcast equipment
• Creative in copywriting and show prep

• Create original content that is entertaining, informative and locally relevant
• Create social media content and engage with online listeners as it relates to your air shift
• Get to know our audience and form a connection with them
• Protect the stations FCC license
• Monitor the commercial logs for the airshift
• Become a brand ambassador for KMMO via occasional live broadcasts and other public appearances
• Participate in the stations severe weather coverage as scheduled
• Produce commercials and other promotional content
• Other duties as required by management
